Why do grandparents spoil their grandchildren?
The answer is simple — Ray.
A miracle happened to our family when Ray came to our lives unexpectedly. We were there at the hospital when he was born and immediately filled our hearts with immense pleasure. He was a happy boy and he grew up kindhearted. His mother, our daughter Lesley, didn’t spoil him and yet he learned to be responsible and obeyed everything we said. Have you seen your kids doing their chores willingly with a smile on their face? Seriously, Ray does it happily and takes great pride in his work. I have never seen any child doing their chores like the way Ray does. He is very industrious and at a young age knows how to earn a living by selling lemonade or walking their neighbor’s dog after school.
Ray is the special person in my life that gave me the inspiration and the strength to move on with my life after the death of my sister and nephew. His presence and that bright smile of his made me stronger each day, with a greater understanding and respect for life. He made me look forward to see what comes next!
Now, you know where my inspiration came from. When you have a grandson like Ray, you want the whole world to know how lucky you are. And in as much as I don’t want him to grow up too fast and I just want him to stay young forever, but I look at this little boy and I knew we did good. We taught him well to help him make wise choices or decisions in his life even when we are not around to guide him anymore. We protected and nurtured him, gave him love and the knowledge he needs to experience life to help him create the next chapter of his life. And I look forward to see him grow into this amazing person he is destined to be. Ray Angelo is our super hero!
